Well, he's not wrong in what she could do. And she is aware of the affect her sheer physicality can cause, so she's just going to stand here, and be calm, and composed, and hopefully that'll at least not contribute to the man's nervousness.

"Hey, Kieran, I'm Shepard," she says, and shakes his hand warmly. "I'm new myself. Though I think everyone here is new, so at least we have company."

If he doesn't want to talk about his being so still earlier, she won't push it. Not yet, not until some danger or such presents itself.

And if it turns out he's a creep, well, she can deal with that, too. But being nervous is hardly a universal sign of that, so she'll keep on being pleasant until she has to change.
