[ If it's not one thing, it's another. First there was that fungal infestation, then the food supply had to be replenished, and no sooner had he started into that than all the defenses on the top levels went haywire, very nearly putting a hole in his head.
So, you know. Minor inconveniences. But it's something to do. It's been quite a while since he ran across a problem he was uniquely qualified to solve - the imPort community of Earth-β has no shortage of superheroes, or geniuses, or tech wizards, and it's not situated in an abandoned space colony that's falling apart at the seams. Supply is high, demand relatively low. Here, though - here, he's actually needed. Maybe, for these people, he can actually make a difference.
His first priority is to set up a perimeter around the arrival room. New residents could be Ported in at any moment, and he'd hate their first impression of the place to be death. His powers may be on the fritz, but it's still a simple matter to disconnect the nearby turrets from their power source. That leaves the wandering robots, but if he can just repurpose a few of those to defend the area, that'll free him up to address the root of the problem...
... Although it would go a lot faster if his powers weren't on the fritz! Unplugging the bots from their batteries was the simplest way to disable them, but even that gave him the beginnings of a headache after two or three. He's having to refit them by hand, one at a time. And he's got one back up and running, standing guard while he works on the other two he picked out - but even that took him like two and a half hours. This is the worst, you guys, he doesn't have this kind of patience! I mean, he does, but he hates it.
So yeah. New arrivals or old can find this tall-haired nerd sitting on a half-gutted security bot, his sleeves rolled up, fiddling with its innards. An active bot watches his back, training its gun on anyone who passes by, but not attacking... unless you happen to be a robot yourself, in which case it might have an itchy trigger finger.
Look, reprogramming this IFF system was a pain in the ass, he hasn't had time to work out all the bugs. ]

[ Once that's taken care of, Qubit sets his sights on the security room. He'd noted its presence a few days ago, when he first got here, and it was high on his list of things to get working again - but this little malfunction bumps it up to #1.
But how to get inside? It's much more heavily guarded than the other areas. He's got one rewired bot with him (helpfully identified by its eyes, which glow green instead of red), but let's be real, it's not going to last long when it's outnumbered ten to one (and that's not counting the turrets). He's going to need help.
So anybody else who looks interested in getting in? Qubit and his murderbot are just going to come on over and join you. ]
Got any brilliant ideas?

[ Tall Hair Nerd can be found pretty much anywhere in the colony! The only guarantee is that he's definitely working on something. Alternatively, feel free to run into him at Whole Foods, or to stumble across his auto-generated matchmaker profile. (He did try to delete it, but the AI really wants him to have one, apparently.)
