"Probably." He grins at her as he says it. It's always a good idea to bring supplies, especially if there's any uncertainty about the situation they could be walking into, which there is here, as much as he'd attempted to learn before he made the suggestion to Annie.

"Water, some food. Wish we had a better way to carry things but we can make do."

They have some baskets and containers they've made, but really it would be better if they had more bags, or a backpack. But they can work out something.

And they do work out something, filling up bottles they've kept from drinks they'd had in the city with water and stashing them around their persons and wrapping up some food in fresh leaves from the agricultural level, and then they're ready to go, weapons at the ready.
