So the spider caught a bug, which is a joke Peter would absolutely make if he didn't feel like a total garbage fire right now. He doesn't come in looking for Shepard specifically, figuring he can work this out on his own because he's developed a bad habit of trying to do everything on his own. Unfortunately, he's hit the dizziness and lightheadedness phase pretty hard, so the most he manages to do is stumble into a table and knock over tray of medical supplies like a clumsy asshole.
