While the cold snap persists, it's just them, tucked away in a little space together with no need to worry about anything else or anyone else because there's nothing to be done about it. Cole tangles them closer, because he loves the way it feels to have Ben so close, so their skin touches and he can't sense anything but Ben's joy and happiness, bubbling evanescence over him and through him, making him giggle as well.
