[ First and foresmost, Reynir wants to get Onni back somewhere private and safe. Not that the rest of the Anchor isn't safe, but the thing is that he knows his friend well. He knows that, once Onni is back to himself again, if he finds out that anyone else saw him in this confused, emotional, vulnerable state, he will be humiliated, or angry, or both. So Reynir shepherds him back to their rooms, with the runes on the walls and all those items of his and Onni's and Lalli's tucked away. He sees it again, through fresh eyes, imagining what it must look like to Onni, without any of his memories.

Reynir directs him towards the kitchen, which seems like a cozy and informal place, for this sort of a talk. He puts some water on to heat and then sits down at the little table next to Onni. Those few moments of getting him inside had given Reynir a chance to get his thoughts together. ]

I can't give you all the answers. I don't know what's made it so you can't remember, or - or how long it'll last. Strange things happen here all the time, but they're usually temporary, if that's any consolation? For a while, it kept getting so cold. And there was one time when people just straight up couldn't lie, sometimes. I'm... I'm hoping that, before long, you'll remember everything from those 12 years and this is gonna be something we laugh about.

[ He rests his freckly cheek against one hand, arm propped on the table, looking at Onni with concern, but no real panic or urgency. ]

'Til then, I guess I'm just gonna have to look out for you.

[ And Reynir's mouth curls at the corner into a smile that is warm, and so fond. ]
