His eyes flicker briefly in Ben's direction, as he nods.

He's never been much of a reader, but he spent a lot of time doing so in the City, catching up on new discoveries and learning about alternate realities and time travel. He's not sure this meager collection can give him anything the City didn't, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.
