[ Ben doesn't say anything, because he also doesn't think this is the time or place, but he can't stop thinking that the way Pratt talks about himself and his own guilt sounds so entirely applicable to Ben's own life. And for the first time in, well, maybe ever, he feels kind of bad for not having already sorted his own stuff out. If he had, maybe he would be able to give Pratt some better guidance on forgiving himself, and dealing with things he'd done when he had no choice. It's an odd thought - that he should prioritize his own recovery and growth because it will allow him to help others, better. He'll have to think on that. ]

[ And he shrugs, because hey, now Pratt at least has some reason why that might be. He'd seen Ben's powers, what he can do. Had he noticed what a quick and practiced thing it seemed to be, for him to tear a person in half?

I'm saying all this like I'm some expert, but I haven't really talked shit through before with anyone. There're my siblings but... that doesn't count as somebody outside the... situation.
[ He's being vague again but he'd told Pratt his dad was a monster before and he's sure the guy can extrapolate some things. The same way Ben had extrapolated a few things, from the way Jacob looked and held himself, the way he had spoken to Pratt. It was... evocative, and his guesses may be wrong, but... he has more of an inkling now than before. ]
