"I know, I know I know..." he says, when Drake tells him that Diego will come around and realize that it was a different version of him. He nods against Drake's shoulder, "If anyone can figure that out, it's Diego. He's given me a lot of second chances, you know?"

Diego is a good guy. He'd known that, of course, but he's never really thought of it in those terms before, never really put words to it even in his own mind. Finally, he pulls back from the hug and gives Drake a shaky smile.

"Uh, I set my stuff up in one of the quads, and I slept a bit in the MedBay earlier. I think the quad would be better. My brothers are staying there too, I think. Ben found it. Do you want to come crash there with me?"
